Do I need a Boat Licence?

No Boat License Required Under 10 Knotts

You don't need a boat license for the pontoon because it's under 7.5 m and operates under 10 knots. You only need a car license or to be over 18 with a formal form of identification, such as a passport.

If you don't have an Australian boat license, a 30-minute practical induction will be provided before your booking time. If you do have a license, a free safety briefing will be conducted.

If you're interested in obtaining a boat license, I can provide the boat practical component for $149. Additionally, you can complete the 50-question test anytime at the RMS. The entire process takes about 2 hours.

Cancellation Policy

If you decide to cancel for any reason related to the weather, there will be a 25% charge. However, I will cancel if the wind is predicted to be over 35 km/h. In the case of rain, I make every effort to schedule boat outings earlier or later to secure the best weather conditions. Typically, showers occur in the late afternoon or early morning and do not significantly impact our operations.

Do you have EFTPOS?

We don't have EFTPOS, so PayPal is the preferred method for payment before the day due to potential account issues with old or outdated cards and accounts. It's best to pay the deposit and bring cash on the day, as this is the fastest way to get on the water, especially if you are sharing the costs. Using multiple cards for one boat could take up to 30 minutes of your booking time.

Do you have toilet on board?

There is no toilet on board as it is a small boat. However, we do have a restroom at the marina, and we have the toilets marked out on a map so you can easily pull into the docks with the facilities.

Food and Drink

You are welcome to bring any food and drinks of your choice. However, please remember that drug and alcohol laws apply on the water, the same as the regulations on the road.

Additionally, we do offer catering options if booked in advance, providing an added convenience for your outing

Map & Area

The Boat is only for partially smooth water operation. It is limited to the area west of Bradley Head Mossman across to Point Piper back past the bridge all the way to Gladesville bridge.
